For many students, university can be a challenging time. With assignments, deadlines, exams, social and work life to balance, there are many things that can keep the mind busy. Having a number of different things that worry and stress you can have an effect on other areas of our lives such as studies or relationships.

Macquarie University provides free confidential counselling service aiming to assist students with  matters, which may prevent successful completion of their studies. Staff of the counselling service  are professionals who provide to students, individual and group programs to address potential issues.  The service is accessible and free to currently enrolled Macquarie University students.
Other services include:

 ·      short-term solution focussed counselling,
 ·      cognitive behavioural therapy,
 ·      mindfulness
 ·      short to medium term psychotherapy
 ·      referral to specialist services outside of Macquarie University

Campus Wellbeing is located Level 2, Lincoln Building (C8A). Their opening hours are Monday to Friday – 8am to 6pm. (excluding public holidays)

The counselling service provides general counselling to undergraduate, postgraduate, local and international students enrolled at Macquarie University.
