If you’re looking to unwind and relax after a long day at uni, or if you simply want a place to hang out on your lunch break, Ubar is the place to be. Whether you’re after a relaxing, comfortable space to chillout with friends, grab a bite to eat/drink or looking to grab some R&R to cope with the stressful demands of uni life, this is the one place on campus to meet your needs.
Located on the top level of the Campus Hub, Ubar features a lounge and terrace, separate games room, various food vendors and bar. The bar itself operates from 12:00pm onwards (Mon-Fri) and closes at 8:00pm (Mon-Wed), 2:00am (Thurs) and 9:00pm (Fri) so you can easily pop by to relax after class/work (if you work on campus).
Ubar also holds various ‘Theme Nights’ where you can experience loud music, cheap and affordable drinks, outrageous costume dress-ups and overall, just have a good time! There is something different every month and definitely something to experience - especially, if you’re a uni student and you want to party without breaking the bank, these nights are perfect for you!
